For the designation of the kinds color of the cats in FIFe, a special coding was developed, which as in FIFe, and in WCF to time use becomes. It is very accessible, since it permits "identification" for any kind and each conceivable colors.

 The description looks as follows:

XXX.xx.NN.NN.NN.(NN)

XXX - The capital letter markings (the codes) of the kinds of cat (three letters). It is necessary to stress that all kinds, which are in the list are not recognized. Nevertheless they are listed.
xx -The letter markings of the color (up to two letters): 

 a - blue

 b - chocolate, brown, chestnut

 c - lilac, lavender

 d - red, flame

 e - cream

 f - tortoiseshell, patch

 g - blue-cream, blue-tortie

 h - chocolate-tortie

 j - lilac-tortie

 n - black, ebony, seal, sable, ruddy

 o - sorrel, cinnamon, honey

 p - beige fawn

 q - sorrel tortie

 r - beige fawn tortie

 s - silver, smoke

 u - bronze

 w - white

 x - unregistered

 y - golden

 z - marble

 NN.NN.NN. (NN)- In the designation are certified three zahlenpaaren and pair of auxiliary numbers (beginning with 0). With the numbers becomes the diversity of the skin color, which designates eyes and the tail length.

 09 - little white spots

 11 - shaded

 12 - tipped, shell

 21 - tabby, agouti

 22 - spotted

 23 - mackerel, tiger

 24 - spotted
